A Law Graduate from Exeter University and winner of the Drawing Prize from the prestigious
Wimbledon School of Art, Christina worked as an assistant vaulter for Bonhams Fine Art
Auctioneers before moving to Guernsey.
Christina left the UK 30 years ago to work on the island as a Compliance Professional. Since
leaving the Finance Industry almost two years ago, Christina now works as a Non-Executive
Director for the Guernsey Arts Commission and is a full time painter.
Her practice is rooted in Old Master painting techniques and traditions and she draws
particular inspiration from the balance and symbolism of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood
and the discipline of the Neo-Classical Movement. She mainly uses egg tempera on gesso
panels to re-interpret classical painting styles and techniques.
