Hayley Mallett

Hayley Mallett is a Guernsey-based mixed media artist whose vibrant, highly detailed works
combine painting, embroidery, fabric and hand-sewn beadwork. A Textile Design graduate
from University College Falmouth (2007), she draws inspiration from the natural
world—particularly plants and gardens—as well as a lifelong fascination with colour and
pattern.

Hayley is the owner of Sula Framing and Gallery and has exhibited widely in the Channel
Islands. Her recent Banknote Project explores Guernsey’s identity through art, craftsmanship
and storytelling.
