Maggie Le Conte

Maggie Le Conte is a local Guernsey artist who was born in South Africa to parents who
were graphic artists. She has lived in Guernsey for most of her life. Art has been part of her
world and a great passion since she was a small child. She loves to try all different sorts of
mediums and subjects and has a great love of nature, Medieval history and fantasy.

In the last few years she has had two solo art exhibitions featuring landscapes, figures,
flowers, dragons and imaginative paintings. William Morris’ art and designs are close to her
heart, so it was a great pleasure to create a piece that resonated with his work for the
William Morris Collective in its first exhibition, Radical Beauty
