Sally Cokeley

Sally Cokeley trained and worked in London in textiles, creating printed fabrics and
wallpapers both for high street and exclusive brands, her work still naturally tends towards
pattern. As well as a degree in Textile Printing, Sally holds a qualification in Botanical
Painting and on returning to Guernsey her creative focus has been on local wild plants and
how to portray them. Having become aware, through the Botany section of La Societe and
the charity Grow Guernsey Natives, of the importance of these sometimes rare and often
tiny plants, she endeavours to highlight their extraordinary qualities and beauty through her
work.
